The Harbor Psychotherapy Services, LCSW, PLLCMy vision to establish and cultivate a group psychotherapy practice originated prior to earning
degrees or titles. It began with a passion to study and better understand human behavior, and a desire to
help people learn how to help themselves. The Harbor Psychotherapy Services, LCSW, PLLC epitomizes my
approach to mental health treatment, tailoring services to the individual and not only his or her clinical
diagnosis. Rest assured that selected interventions do stem from evidence-based practices such as
Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, and
Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, to name a few. The goal is to better understand the unique
experience of each consumer to facilitate a healthy recovery.
At The Harbor Psychotherapy Services, my team works with individuals, couples, and families as
defined by consumers, ages 15 and up. Each therapist that comprises the group practice has been selected
due to their expert knowledge and specialty in different areas. For example, Nilton is trained to aid military
personnel impacted as a result of being in the line of duty. Giving back to those who serve and protect is

In addition to providing psychotherapy services, we work closely with two psychiatrists for consumers
seeking medicinal assistance, one of which is in our building, while the other practices in Ardsley, NY.
Collaboration between our therapists and our recommended psychiatrists is frequent, with few obstacles
preventing direct communication. We have learned the importance of accessibility to outside professionals
and we seek to facilitate this process for consumers seamlessly.
